World Journal of Experimental Biosciences (P-ISSN 2313-3937, e-3070-0647) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-impact research in the multidisciplinary fields of biological and medical sciences. Published by Unicorn Scientific Publishing, the journal serves as a global forum for the presentation of innovative experimental findings, mechanistic insights, and translational studies that address complex biological questions.

Our mission is to foster scientific excellence by bridging fundamental laboratory discovery with clinical, environmental, and veterinary applications. Guided by an international Editorial Board of distinguished experts, World Journal of Experimental Biosciences emphasizes the "One Health" paradigm integrating human, animal, and environmental health to solve emerging global challenges.

Thematic Areas of Focus

The journal welcomes submissions aligned with, but not strictly limited to, the following areas:

  • Experimental Medicine & Clinical Biosciences: Innovative studies on the pathophysiology of human disease, including the development and validation of experimental models (e.g., murine burn models, rheumatoid arthritis studies, and histopathological assessments).

  • Microbiology & Antimicrobial Research: High-level investigations into clinical isolates, multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens (e.g., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae), biofilm dynamics, and the efficacy of novel antimicrobial agents, including plant-derived essential oils and nanoparticles.

  • Emerging Infectious Diseases & Virology: Led by world-class expertise in virology, this section focuses on pathogen-host interactions, zoonotic spillover, biosurveillance, and the impact of viral infections (e.g., Newcastle disease, viral hemorrhagic fevers) on host fertility and systemic health.

  • Environmental & Soil Biology: Research exploring the intersection of ecology and health, including the antimicrobial potential of soil microorganisms, the impact of chemical pollutants/heavy metals on ecosystems, and environmental toxicology.

  • Immunology & Molecular Biochemistry: Mechanistic studies on cellular signaling, cytokine production, and biochemical pathways involved in inflammation, immunity, and metabolic regulation.

  • Applied Biotechnology: The application of biochemical assays and biotechnological tools in agriculture, pharmacological development, and diagnostic medicine.

Article Types and Submission Eligibility

The journal considers Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Editorials and Short Communications (optional) within the scope above (see full Guidelines for Authors for detailed formatting requirements). To be considered for publication, a manuscript must meet the following criteria:

•          Originality: the manuscript must present original work not previously published, in whole or in substantial part, in any language.

•          Single submission: the manuscript must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal or publication outlet.

•          No redundant or duplicate publication: manuscripts substantially overlapping with previously published work by the authors must be clearly disclosed and justified at submission.

•          Authorship: all listed authors must meet Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) authorship criteria and are expected to have approved the final manuscript and agreed to be accountable for its content.
