Author rights

All articles published in the World Journal of Experimental Biosciences (World J Exp Biosci) are Open Access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright of their published work and grant the Journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, archive, and promote the article.

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, authors retain the following rights:

  • Retain copyright ownership of their work;
  • Retain patent and trademark rights;
  • Reuse, share, and distribute their published work for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate attribution is given;
  • Use their research data freely without restriction;
  • Receive proper attribution and credit for their published work;
  • Reuse their published material in future works, including books, reviews, compilations, teaching materials, and other scholarly publications, with acknowledgment of the original article;
  • Include the published article in a thesis or dissertation;
  • Share the published article through personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other platforms permitted under the CC BY 4.0 license;

Institution rights

Institutions may use articles published in World J Exp Biosci for educational, research, and administrative purposes in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.

Institutional rights include:
